International Experience
Antarctica, 1982. Terminal Operations Crew Leader in the joint US/NZ cargo movement operation supporting the scientific research programmes. The team processed air and sea borne cargo in and out of McMurdo Station and Scott Base to stations on the Antarctic continent and back to New Zealand.
Singapore, 1986-87. Field Psychologist providing selection, assessment and career development services to the New Zealand Defence Force staff based in Singapore.
Fiji, 1986. Field Psychologist facilitating assessment centers for selecting Officers and specialist staff for the Royal Fiji Military Forces.
Germany and the United Kingdom, 1989. Leadership Instructor at the Education Centre of the Headquarters of the British Army of the Rhine, in Rheindahlen Westfalia, including an operational tour of duty in the British Sector of West Berlin and work with the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, the Army Personnel Research Establishment in Farnborough and the Army Adventure Training Centre at Aviemore in Scotland.
Bahrain, 1991. Senior Field Psychologist and team leader for the post operational debriefing of New Zealand Defence Medical staff supporting operations in the Gulf.
Australia, 1997. Manager HR Development leading competency framework development and change management in the acquisition of Pacific Star Communications by Telecom New Zealand.
Asian Development Bank 2003-05. Human Resources Specialist delivering policy and planning on recruitment and career development for the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines; Facilitation of a governance workshop on civil service reform and private sector development for management staff within the Government of the Punjab, Pakistan.
Asia 2003 - Current. Facilitation of private sector development workshops for the Government of the Punjab, Pakistan. HRINZ Representative on the Asia Pacific Federation for HR Management participated in collaborative meetings in Colombo, Surabaya, Singapore, Taipei and Manila.
